We met at church, where Kelvin served on the media team working behind the sound system. Around the same time, Ami had recently joined as a volunteer to help the team grow, and over time, we found ourselves talking more during the sermons.

When the church began remodeling, we planned to clean out the media booth on a Saturday morning. The night before, Kelvin called Ami—our very first conversation outside of church—and what started as a simple call turned into a three-hour conversation. That was the moment we realized how naturally we connected.

At the time, neither of us was looking for a relationship, but everything just fell into place. A few months later, we started dating, and about a year after that, we got engaged.

We’ve found in each other a best friend, a partner, and a forever love—and we can’t wait for what’s ahead.
